No matter which direction you look, the beauty of Colorado abounds. September was cool for a South Georgia girl and the fields had been mowed. The snow-capped peak was hidden in the low clouds threatening to rain, or would it be snow. Leaves of the Aspens were turning their brillant yellow against a backdrop of greens. We have our mountains in Georgia ~ but here in Colorado they have MOUNTAINS!

The vast Montana field reflects a brilliant golden glow from the setting sun as the heavy storm clouds pass over. I can’t imagine a person being able to paint anything more powerful than Mother Nature painted here today.
